The unquestionably orgasmic delight of popping dollop after dollop of a food of an unrelentingly elegant design; low in fat, high in umami, arguably, an invention born of perfection. So hard to choose! I went for Indian because it’s what I enjoy cooking the most and also what’s easiest to find in London. (I’d go for ‘Other’ and say Malaysian if London could manage a decent Malay restaurant this year!)
If you like Spanish and haven’t been already, try Dehesa for tapas or Sunday brunch. (It’s a little cheaper than Fino/Barrafina but no less delicious.)
I can’t believe you didn’t include Thai or Vietnamese!!! Although then I would have had a tie with those two and Japanese. So I got to vote for Japanese! Hehe.
Hiya, just wanted to say thanks for stopping by Yum Scrumptious (I comented back but not sure if you get notified)
Anyways, I’ll be putting a link to your site (which is v.cool) and look forward to reading more!
I voted medi… which I believe would cover my three top favorites (lebanese, french, Italian)! I really love a fusion of them as well as thai!
I would’ve checked “all of the above (including certain kinds of ethnic fast food)”. I can’t say that I’ve had the most stellar examples of each cuisine but I’ve enjoyed enough not to eliminate any particular cuisine. It’s all good!
I can’t choose just one!
That’s so wrong, You can’t ask me to pick! this is hard, I have a lot of favorites such as Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Filipino, Mediterranean and even French! I love french bistro cafes here in NYC
What?? Mexican isn’t an option?? You’re alienating a large portion of your American audience!!
I love all food but I have to say my favorite is Italian!
I voted for Japanese BUT I also love Italian, Chinesem Thai, Vietnamese, Mediterranean, French….etc..etc… So, this is a really unfair question!

Kate – Indian is a great choice, I’m still due a visit to Tayyabs (sometime soon) – I have hear some great things about dehesa from other food bloggers but never been there myself, my fav restaurant is cambio de tercio.. but I will give dehesa a try
Christie – I added Viet & Thai in the end
!!
Kirsty- thanks for stopping by my blog too
much appreciated, always love links – I will return the favour and link you up on my links page sometime today as well
Bethany – and now you can vote thai too
Tangled Noodle , Su-Lin, Jessie – I was strongly considering changing none to all, perhaps you guys would have fallen into that category!!
Kat – I heard your call… and now, I have answered it! Mexican is on the list
HoneyB – Ah, Italian is looking like a crowd favourite so far
The Food Site – hehehehe, I really should have put an all option.. but Im making you foodies choose instead!
and to everyone who votes, thank you so much, please do keep voting , the poll will be open indefinitely (for the time being)
Interesting results so far. I had a hard time just choosing one.
Italian! Italian! Gorgeous, tomatoes, olives and olive oil, cheese, home of pasta, Parmesan, and love
