I recently read that "rhubarb" has a few more restaurants scattered around london. Cafe Consort in the Royal Albert Hall, The saatchi gallery 'mess' and one in Fenwicks on Bond Street. I wonder how those are in comparison. Perhaps not so 'airporty'?

If Rhubarb's restuarant was located anywhere in the westend you would probably not go out of your way to dine there. But since it's in T3 it's the best of a bad bunch. We ordered the continental breakfast each and a coffee, we didn't get much chance out of £20. But surprisingly is was very tasty. Not the best value for money but at the end of the day they do need to pay BAA rent.

Ha ha I forgot you went here. I told you it wasn't very good. Carina had that very same dish and I had a mouth burning Shepherds Pie, I think. Nothing is cheap in airports but this was pretty poor value for money and terribly slow.

Oh dear indeed. Thanks for 'taking one for the team' on this one Kang. I have walked by this place countless times when in Terminal 3 - which, by the way, has a dearth of decent dining options (at least compared with BA's T5).

What a funny observation about the way the meal is served...just like airplane food but on the ground...not the best concept methinks. That hollandaise sauce looks pretty neon and pretty vile. Glad at least some of it was edible.

Don't think I'll be going there on my next visit to T3, but then again not sure where I should go as the Chez Gerard that is there is a total joke (besides that particular franchise, I actually think CG is pretty good & dependable for a middle of the road chain)?...

Best regards,

Oh dear. I wonder if they intentionally chose ceramic versions of plane food presentation? Very odd!
