i luv this place!especially their sashimi and nabeyaki!
however the fried stuff are just average though

Amazing looking dishes Kang, especially the “slimy and coffee tasting natto beans” can’t say I’ve ever encountered them before, but I’ll be sure to ask now.

Great review Kang!–will pop over during lunch. Sushi hiro still had me ‘at hello’ though. I pine for it. It’s so far away….

Looks good Kang. I have found that a lot of places tend to have that lunch/dinner differential – people are just prepared to pay a lot more for dinner whereas at lunch time (unless they are in the city) they just want to get bums on seats.

Definitely one of my favourite places for lunch (though I’m lucky I’m a local!). At night, they are an izakaya place, which explains the smaller portions.
