Such a brilliant example, you nailed it spot on. I haven’t been in ages since the quality is very variable and there are better tapas joints like Barrafina around (although more expensive).

Sounds absolutely brilliant, and astounding value too. Tapas can be such a money spinner – no wonder it’s rocketing in popularity at the moment. I’ll have to check it out!

GC – Hmm, Barrafina is the accepted gold standard I reckon, I need to revisit soon.

MyLastBite – Wong Kei is surely a London Institution, I like their soya chicken rice!

Ha! I always eat at Wong Kei (such a tourist) when I visit London.

Beautiful photos (as always), especially the baked eggs with asparagus, red peppers and ham.

I think I would prefer to pay the extra cash and head to Barrafina. Strange that everything was closed on a bank holiday weekend I thought it would be a really busy time for lots of restaurants and cafes.
