Yet another mouthwatering review and I’ve not had Austrian food! That pate looks like a nice squared strawberry cake–will make s trip down.

And like I said in a previous post, I really like your blog. So for the negativity regarding ‘comped’ meals, I’d say SOD it and keep up the great work!

Ah Cafe Strudel – it’s such a gem. I’m glad you enjoyed it, and you’re absolutely right about the 19th century Austrian cafe vibe – such classic examples are rife all throughout Vienna, home of the kaffeehaus Next time, try the brilliant spaetzle and cherry strudel. Brilliant washed down with a strong melange coffee.
