I'm assuming you are referring to the Brasserie restaurant which is in the same Hotel Malmaison? To my knowledge, they share the same kitchen, and the Butcher's Block is actually located in the same restaurant space (in fact, its just a private room within the restaurant). The block however does have its own special menu and one of the specialties is this rib of beef. I know that the restaurant menu is different, but I see no reason why they cannot serve you the butcher's block menu outside.
