I suppose it all depends on which branch you go to though. I went to the Soho branch and had to queue for 10 minutes to get a table, then as soon as we sat down we were then told we had to queue to place our orders - which took an age. In the end we queued for a total of about 25 minutes. It made for a shambolic atmosphere. I also found their burgers to be over-filled, resulting in it not holding well together. Hache, on the other hand... Best burgers ever. Great inside too, I found the atmosphere to be quite intimate but also lively. I’d have to disagree with you; I found GBK to be quite dire.
