Christie , lol great comment!

Banu,
I wish I had teachers who taught about food, great way to educate the kids :) , lancashire hotpot can be so very nice! Classic brit dish and a great recipe, when you eventually get round to it, make sure you write a post about it and let me know :D

[...] I paid a visit to Launceston place in Kensington to check out their £18 three course lunch. It was a pretty good meal that turned into a semi five courser instead. Highlights included a really interesting clotted cream tea pudding which consists of a tea ice cream and lovely scones with lots of icing sugar on top. Check it out here. [...]

I remember an article about 'good' English food in my old English "language course" book about 12 years ago. That was my favorite article with photo.s of bread&chocolate pudding. There was even a recipe of the shepard's pie. That was the best lesson of the english class to me those times lol

Years and years passed, and I found out that classic British food was also enjoyable. (Seemed not as wide as some other cuisines in variety yet but still satisfying) I'm looking forward for the times I will try cooking lancashire hotpot in my own kitchen (not mom's lol)

And thanks to new era everything chages, and so do the kitchen!

Btw.... I simply love the idea of "Pre-dessert"!!! Also that white seems interesting. I'm not a "white wine woman", but that one can be interesting.
