Great post(s). Red wines are little stronger than the white but I enjoy both. I remember my trip to Napa Valley in California.

Great introduction to the wine varietal. Very good job Kang! I completely agree that tasting wine is the best way to educate ones palate. Ultimately, you yourself have to enjoy the wine and not the reviewer.

this is a great intro, I can't wait to read the upcoming posts! I'm usually a red drinker, but this summer I discovered a whole world of lovely white wines in Spanish Albarinos, Austrian Gruner Veltliners and French Pouilly Fumes. I'm always happy to learn more, so bring it on :)

Foong, Glad you found it helpful, there's more coming in the next few weeks so do come back :D

thehungryengineer, sounds like your hubby's taste are same as mine, yes, yes I would have to agree with him, pinots are indeed more 'refined' :D, oh yes wine is so subjective, which is why I find it so difficult to get my first wine review post out... cos what I feel n experience will not be the same as the next person. Well, I'll try anyway, do come back read my 1st wine review when its out (sometime this week..) and tell me what you think.

Jessie, hmmm Tempier Bandol , it sounds so exotic! and mourvedre grapes.. ohh.. that is very interesting indeed :D I went to the wine shop the other day and picked up a lebanese red, believe its called chateau musar, will taste it soon and review and let you know about it :D but I will try your recommendation, mourvedre sounds so exotic...
